Ubuntu has issued an update for system-config-printer. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing attacks.
The vulnerability is caused due to the cupshelpers scripts using a HTTP request to check for printer drivers within the OpenPrinting database and can be exploited to e.g. spoof and install altered packages via Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks.
