Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in the Webform Validation module for Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks.
Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed.
Successful exploitation requires the permissions to update Webform nodes.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 6.x-1.5 and 7.x-1.1.
Solution: Update to version 6.x-1.5 or 7.x-1.1.
