Description

Two vulnerabilities have been reported in multiple products, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

1) An integer overflow error in JSJPEG.DLL when parsing JPEG images embedded in Ichitaro documents can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow via an Ichitaro document containing a JPEG image with specially crafted dimensions

2) The application loads unspecified libraries in an insecure manner. This can be exploited to load arbitrary libraries by tricking a user into opening a certain file type located on a remote WebDAV or SMB share.

Solution
Apply patches (please see the vendor's advisory for details).

Provided and/or discovered by
1) Tielei Wang, Georgia Tech Information Security Center via Secunia.
2) IPA credits Naoto Katsumi, LAC Co.
