CVE Reference(s):
Danny Fullerton has reported a vulnerability in Dropbear SSH Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to a use-after-free error within the daemon when managing certain channels concurrency and can be exploited by sending multiple command requests.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code with root privileges, but requires the server to be configured for public key authentication and the "command" option to be used within the "authorized_keys" file.
The vulnerability is reported in version 0.52 through 2011.54.
