Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in VMware View, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Two unspecified errors in the XPDM and WDDM display drivers can be exploited to cause buffer overflows.
2) A null-pointer dereference error exists in the XPDM display driver.
3) Certain unspecified input passed to the View Manager Portal is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 4.6.1.
