Two vulnerabilities have been reported in IP.Board, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Certain input when editing another member's post is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site if malicious data is viewed.
2) Input passed via the "showforum" parameter to index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 3.2.0, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, and 3.2.3.
