Description


A vulnerability has been reported in Ruby on Rails, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

The vulnerability is caused due to Active Record not properly sanitising nested query parameters and can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries.

NOTE: A weakness also exists in the parameter parsing on Rack when using ActionPack and may allow the insertion of "IS NULL" where clauses into SQL queries.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 3.0.13, 3.1.5, and 3.2.4.


Solution:
Update to version 3.0.13, 3.1.5, or 3.2.4.
