Description

SUSE has issued an update for python. This fixes a weakness and some vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to potentially disclose sensitive Information and by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) Due to a race condition error within distutils the file ~/.pypirc is created in an insecure way before changing access permissions. This can be exploited to potentially disclose access credentials.


Solution
Apply updated packages via the zypper package manager.
