Vulnerability Lab has reported two vulnerabilities in Simple Forum PHP, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed via the "orderType" and "orderBy" parameters to forum.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
Provided and/or discovered by: Vulnerability Lab.
