A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco TelePresence Recording Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the handling of IP packets and TCP connection requests or terminations. This can be exploited to cause the device to stop responding or crash certain services and processes by sending a specially crafted sequence of IP packets or TCP segments at a high rate.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 1.6 and prior, 1.7, and 1.8.
