Description

Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Oracle MySQL Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) An unspecified error in the GIS Extention subcomponent can be exploited to cause the service to hang or crash.

2) An unspecified error in the Server Optimizer subcomponent can be exploited to cause the service to hang or crash.

3) An unspecified error in the Server Optimizer subcomponent can be exploited to cause the service to hang or crash.

4) An unspecified error in the Server Optimizer subcomponent can be exploited to cause the service to hang or crash.

5) An unspecified error in the Server subcomponent can be exploited to cause the service to hang or crash.

6) An unspecified error in the InnoDB subcomponent can be exploited to cause the service to hang or crash.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 5.1.62, 5.5.22, and 5.5.23. Prior versions may also be affected.
