Description

Red Hat has issued an update for katello. This fixes a security issue, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to the installation script using a predictable token for cookie generation and can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism of the web interface and log-in as arbitrary user.
