A vulnerability has been reported in Websense Content Gateway, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the "menu" parameter to monitor/m_overview.ink is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 7.7.3.
Solution: No official solution is currently available. Reportedly the vendor is planning the release of a fixed version 7.7.3 in December 2012.
