Description

Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the Cloudsafe365 plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and disclose potentially sensitive information.

1) Input passed via the "file", "line", and "malware" parameters to wp-content/plugins/cloudsafe365-for-wp/admin/editor/cs365_edit.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Input passed via the "file" parameter to wp-content/plugins/cloudsafe365-for-wp/admin/editor/cs365_edit.php is not properly verified before being used to display files. This can be exploited to disclose the contents of arbitrary files via directory traversal sequences.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.46. Prior versions may also be affected.

Solution
Update to version 1.47.
