Description

Red Hat has issued an update for dbus. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to the library not properly sanitizing certain environment settings when running binaries linked to it, which can be exploited to run setuid or setgid applications.
