Benjamin Kunz Mejri has reported two vulnerabilities in Fortinet FortiOS (FortiGate), which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the "mkey" parameter to objusagedlg and the "title" parameter to displaymessage is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 4.3.8 B0630 and prior to 5.0 B064.
Solution: Reportedly fixed in versions 4.3.8 B0630 and 5.0 B064.
