Marcela Benetrix has reported two vulnerabilities in the Answer My Question plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed via the "user_name" and "subject" parameters is not properly sanitised in record_question.php before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site if malicious data is viewed.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 1.2.
Solution: Update to version 1.2.
