Positive Research has reported a vulnerability in Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Certain unspecified input passed to the web server component is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 2.x, 3.0.0, and 3.0.1.
