A vulnerability has been reported in ManageEngine SupportCenter Plus, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed via the "description" POST parameter to WorkOrder.do when adding a new request is not properly sanitised before being stored and returned to the user. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will execute in a user's browser session in context of an affected product when the malicious data is being viewed.
This may be related to vulnerability #4 in: SA48839
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 7.9.0 build 7912.
Solution: Update to version 7.9.0 build 7912.
