Ubuntu has issued an update for aptdaemon. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security features.
The security issue is caused due to the application not properly verifying the authenticity of PPA GPG keys when importing from a keyserver, which can be exploited to install malicious package repository GPG keys via Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks.
