Description

Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks and by malicious people to conduct spoofing, HTTP response splitting, and cross-site scripting and request forgery attacks, manipulate certain data, and compromise a vulnerable system.

1) An unspecified error in the Business Transaction Management subcomponent of Application Performance Management can be exploited to execute arbitrary code.

2) An unspecified error in the Business Transaction Management subcomponent of Application Performance Management can be exploited to update, insert, or delete Application Performance Management accessible data.

3) An unspecified error in the Business Transaction Management subcomponent of Application Performance Management can be exploited to update, insert, or delete Application Performance Management accessible data.

Vulnerabilities #1 through #3 are reported in versions 6.5, 11.1, and 12.1.0.2.

4) Input passed to the "cancelURL" parameter passed to the XDBResource is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

5) Certain input passed to /em/console/database/dbclone/dBClone is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires a Oracle Enterprise Manager user with "VIEW" privileges.

6) Certain input passed to the Distributed/Cross DB Features e.g. /em/console/database/dist/advRepl/advReplicationAdmin is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

7) Input passed to the "SCPLBL_COLLECTED" parameters in /em/console/ecm/config/savedConfig is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires a Oracle Enterprise Manager user with "VIEW" privileges.

8) Input passed to the "pagename" parameter in /em/console/ecm/policy/policyViewSettings is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTTP headers, which will be included in a response sent to the user.

9) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to certain unspecified actions if a logged-in administrative user visits a malicious web site.

Note: This can further be exploited to conduct SQL Injection attacks within the Resource Manager and the Distributed/Cross DB Features subcomponents.

10) Input passed to the "cancelURL" parameter to /em/console/database/xdb/XDBResource is not properly verified before being used to redirect users. This can be exploited to redirect a user to an arbitrary website e.g. when a user clicks a specially crafted link.

11) An error within the User Interface Framework subcomponent can be exploited to update, insert, or delete certain Enterprise Manager Base Platform accessible data.

Vulnerabilities #4 through #11 are reported in the following versions:
* Enterprise Manager Grid Control 10g Release 1, version 10.2.0.5.
* Enterprise Manager Grid Control 11g Release 1, version 11.1.0.1.
* Enterprise Manager Plugin for Database 12c Release 1, versions 12.1.0.1 and 12.1.0.2.
