A vulnerability has been reported in Linux Kernel, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
A race condition error within the "install_user_keyrings()" function (security/keys/process_keys.c) when the "uid" and "uid-session" are not created can be exploited to dereference a NULL-pointer and cause a crash.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 18.104.22.168, 22.214.171.124, and 3.8.3.
Solution: Update to version 126.96.36.199, 188.8.131.52, or 3.8.3.
