Red Hat has issued an update for JBoss Enterprise Portal Platform. This fixes two vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information and bypass certain security restrictions.
1) The GateIn Portal export/import gadget mechanism does not properly check for authentication when importing a ZIP file, which can be exploited to manipulate site contents or modify access controls applied to portlets in the site.
2) An error in the GateIn Portal export/import gadget when processing certain XML data can be exploited to disclose the contents of arbitrary files by sending specially crafted XML data including external entity references.
