Description


Red Hat has issued an update for Red Hat Subscription Asset Manager. This fixes two security issues and multiple vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to manipulate certain data and by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information, conduct script insertion attacks, and bypass certain security restrictions.

1) Input passed via the username field in the Notifications form of the Subscription Asset Manager UI is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site if malicious data is viewed.

Updated packages are available via the Red Hat Network.
