Hello! Clicking on the <click to update> took me to the following page(s) -
M Download Office Professional 2013, Office Free 2013 from Kingsoft - Kingsoft Office
www.ksosoft.com

12:28 PM Kingsoft Office www.ksosoft.com

Which in turn brought up a WARNING from my Webroot SecureAnywhere ver. 8.0.2.167 saying there was a security issue and to either allow or continue to block. I chose to block.

So, now I don't know what to do. Can you advise please.

Not sure what link you are using. This looks OK to me:

http://www.ksosoft.com/office/212-new-version-of-k...

That leads to the download link which also looks OK:

http://www.ksosoft.com/product/office-free

I am not sure I am doing this right, however here is what I noticed: When going from Secunia to Kingsoft Writer it took me to www.ksosoft.com as opposed to http://www.kingsoftstore.com/software/kingsoft-off... where I get no WARNINGS from WEBROOT.

Therefore the problem appears to be in the link between Secunia PSI and Kingsoft.... thought you might like to know. I am wondering if that was the reason this software did not automatically update through SECUNIA.

Thanks for letting my put in my 2 cents worth. Also by the way, the advisory is 53266.

Hi Mr Joyce: You see the difference?

http://www.ksosoft.com/product/office-free. . . . . . . .KSOSOFT must be the issue. This came from the CLICK TO UPDATE under the STATUS
http://www.kingsoftstore.com/software/kingsoft-off...

Is that programme listed as an auto update or did it give a manual link? Not all programmes can be auto updated.

I cannot see anything wrong with the links. There are various on offer from the vendor:

http://www.ksosoft.com/product/office-free

http://www.kingsoftstore.com/download-office

All appear OK to me.
