Rack911 has reported two vulnerabilities in RVSiteBuilder, which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose certain sensitive information and gain escalated privileges.
1) An unspecified error exists within the application and can be exploited to change the ownership of arbitrary files via symlink attacks.
2) An unspecified error exists within the application and can be exploited to disclose contents of arbitrary files via specially crafted hardlinks.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 5.0.31. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 5.0.33 or later.
