Description


A weakness has been reported in GnuPG and Libgcrypt, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to potentially disclose sensitive information.

The problem exists in the way the RSA secret exponent is calculated, which can be exploited to disclose RSA secret keys via side-channel attacks.

The weakness is reported in GnuPG versions prior to 1.4.14 and Libgcrypt versions prior to 1.5.3.


Solution:
Update to GnuPG version 1.4.14 or Libgcrypt version 1.5.3.
