Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in IBM InfoSphere BigInsights, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing, cross-site scripting, and request forgery attacks.
1) Certain unspecified input is not properly verified before being used as link or displayed as content. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary links or display arbitrary content e.g. when a user clicks a specially crafted link to the affected script hosted on a trusted domain.
2) Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities #1 and #2 are reported in versions 1.1 through 2.1.
3) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to perform certain actions if a logged-in administrator visits a malicious web site.
This vulnerability is reported in versions 2.0 through 2.1.
