Roguecoder has reported a vulnerability in the IndiaNIC Testimonial plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request forgery attacks.
The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to add testimonials by tricking a logged-in administrator into visiting a malicious web site.
Note: This can further be exploited to conduct script insertion attacks.
The vulnerability is reported in version 2.2. Other versions may also be affected.
