Description


Rack911 has reported a vulnerability in Installatron Plugin, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error related to the "System CURL Binary" HTTP driver setting and can be exploited to e.g. perform certain actions with root privileges.

NOTE: This vulnerability affects DirectAdmin installations only.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 9.0.4 and 8.0.16.


Solution:
Update to version 9.0.4 or 8.0.16.
