Rack911 has reported a vulnerability in Installatron Plugin, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to the application insecurely handling certain tmp files with predictable session names, which can be exploited to overwrite arbitrary system files with session data and subsequently render a server inoperable.
NOTE: This vulnerability affects DirectAdmin installations only.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 9.0.5 and prior.
Solution: Update to version 9.0.6.
