Description


Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and compromise a user's system.

1) An unspecified error exists during validation of local file installation.

2) An unspecified error exists during secure creation of registry keys.

3) A use-after-free error when handling "CMarkup" objects can be exploited to dereference an invalid pointer.

4) An error related to an uninitialised variable when handling HTML tables and rows can be exploited to cause memory corruption.

5) A use-after-free error within the "CObjectElement" class can be exploited to dereference an invalid pointer.

6) Another unspecified error can be exploited to cause memory corruption.

7) Another unspecified error can be exploited to cause memory corruption.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities #3 through #7 allows execution of arbitrary code.
