A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco IOS XE, which can bee exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error when processing MPLS IP packets, which can be exploited to crash the Cisco Packet Processor process via specially crafted MPLS fragmented IP packets.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 3.7S(.1) and prior. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to a fixed version (please see the vendor's advisory for details).
