Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Oracle VM VirtualBox, which can be exploited by malicious, local users in a guest virtual machine to gain escalated privileges and by malicious, local users to disclose sensitive information, manipulate certain data, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), and gain escalated privileges

There are major issues with 4.3.14 https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/13187

For many users, myself included, updating will break the ability to use any existing VMs, didn't try to create a new one. Back to running 4.3.12
