Description

By creating a link which points to a local file it will be executed if the user clicks on the link.
A link like <A HREF="../../../../evilfile.exe">www.google.com</A> or <A HREF="notepad">www.google.com</A> would execute the files.

This could possibly be abused to trick the user into executing files he didn't intend to.

Only version 4.8.2790 is known to be vulnerable.


Solution
Upgrade to the latest version, it is not vulnerable to this issue.
