Description: The SuSE Security Team has reviewed critical parts of perl-MailTools and has reported a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to missing input validation in the Perl package "Mail::Mailer" and affects auto-reply programs and spam filters using Mail::Mailer. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code on a system by inserting arbitrary commands into the mail body of an email.
