Description

Solaris ships with wall, used to broadcast messages to users. A bug has been discovered allowing users to broadcast messages as if they originated from the root user.

This could be used in a social engineering attack. Depending on your walld implementation this may be exploitable from remote as well.

Solution
Educate your user to be suspicious to any kind of messages that originate from root / administrator.
