Description

Sun Microsystems has confirmed the existence of the CVS double-free vulnerability in all Sun Cobalt versions as well as their Linux distribution (LX50).

Remote exploitation could provide a malicious user with system access using the CVS server's privileges.

Solution
Sun Microsystems has suggested that customers disable the CVS server until patches are released.
