Description:
Vulnerabilities in multiple LDAP implementations was originally discovered in July 2001. These could be exploited to conduct a DoS attack (Denial of Service) against a vulnerable system or compromise it. Lotus Domino R5.0.7 was affected but the vulnerabilities were fixed in R5.0.7a.

However, some of the vulnerabilities have been rediscovered in Lotus Domino R6 pre-release and beta versions. According to the report these can only be be exploited to conduct a DoS on a vulnerable system.
