Description

A Denial of Service vulnerability has been identified in NetEngine.

This can be exploited by sending a malformed TFTP packet to the TFTP service on NetEngine, which causes NetEngine to crash.

An exploit has been made and is in "the wild".

Solution
Filter TFTP traffic at your perimeter router or firewall. TFTP is an inherently insecure protocol that should only be used on management networks.

Provided and/or discovered by
Lorenzo Cerulli and Fabio Annunizato.
