Description

A Cross Site Scripting vulnerability has been identified in Neoteris Instant Virtual Extranet. This could potentially be exploited to hi-jack sessions.

The problem is that an argument handled by a CGI script isn't verified before it is returned. This allows malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting attacks.

The vulnerability has been reported to exist in version 3.01 and earlier.


Solution
The vendor has released version 3.1, which reportedly isn't vulnerable.
