Description: Red Hat has issued an update for lv to fix a privilege escalation vulnerability.
The problem is that lv reads and interprets the ".lv" file from the current directory. This allows malicious local users to create a ".lv" file in a diretory which will execute commands when browsed with lv. This could be exploited to escalate privileges.
