Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Owl Intranet Engine, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass user authentication.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the validation of user credentials supplied to the PHP script "browse.php". This can be exploited by a malicious person to bypass user authentication by requesting the affected PHP script and supply an invalid username.

Example:
http://[victim]/intranet/browse.php?loginname=[arbitrary_loginname]

The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.71. Other versions may also be affected.
