Description

Sun has reported a vulnerability in Sun Cluster, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain knowledge of sensitive information on a system.

The problem is that usernames and passwords are stored in plain text in a cluster configuration file, which can result in disclosure of these.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.2, but only systems that have the HA-Oracle or HA-Sybase DBMS services registered with the cluster framework are affected by this issue.
