Description: Slackware has issued an updated package for sysvinit to fix a potential security issue.
The problem is that "/etc/rc.d/rc.M" calls the utility "quotacheck" with the following parameters: "-avugM". However, the "M" option is not correct (this should have been "m"), which results in the filesystem being remounted.
During this process all mount flags are reset, which can grant users more privileges than the system administrator desires.
