Description: A vulnerability has been identified in UpClient, which can be exploited by a malicious, local user to escalate privileges on a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error. A malicious person can exploit this by supplying an overly long, specially crafted string to the parameter "-p" when executing the program.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code with the privileges of the group "kmem".
