Description:
A vulnerability has been identified in Crob FTP Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially compromise of a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error and can be exploited by supplying specially crafted data containing format specifiers to the "USER" command.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 2.50.4 build 228. However, prior versions may also be affected.
