Description

A vulnerability has been identified in JBoss, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose the source code of JSP pages by appending a NULL byte ("%00") to the end of the requested resource.

The vulnerability has been reported in JBoss 3.2.1 used in combination with Jetty. However, other versions may also be affected.


Solution
Filter malicious characters in a HTTP proxy or firewall with URL filtering capabilities.
