Solution: The fix provided in version 2.3 is inadequate as it is still possible to include local files by defining the "pm_path" and "sfx" parameters via e.g. a cookie when "register_globals" is enabled. This has been confirmed in version 2.4.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Update to version 2.3, and set "register_globals" to "Off" or edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
