Description: A vulnerability has been identified in Avaya Cajun Switches and G700 Media Gateway, which allows malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The problem is that the switch doesn't handle connections to port 4000/tcp properly. This can be exploited by sending a negative integer, which causes the switch to crash and reboot.
Normal operations are restored after 30 seconds.
According to Avaya, other TCP and UDP ports may also be exploited.
Affected versions: P33x/P130 and G700.
